1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using LiteRegister, LiteManage or LiteVRM, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. LiteRegister is operated by Chapter Two Trading FZE, United Arab Emirates.
2. Who can use LiteRegister
LiteRegister is intended for use by business owners and their staff to manage sales, expenses, staff, and payments for their business. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to create a business account. If you create an account on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that business.
3. LiteManage
LiteManage is a companion product for managing customers, appointments, reminders, staff, products and expenses without recording sales or accepting payments through the app. It is billed separately at AED 29/month, with a 14-day free trial requiring no card.
You can switch between LiteRegister and LiteManage at any time from your account settings. Switching does not affect your existing customers, staff, appointments or other business data — only which features are enabled changes.
4. Fair use
LiteRegister is provided for businesses that record their sales through the app. If an account uses LiteRegister without recording sales — for example, to manage customers, appointments or staff only — we may ask the account to switch to LiteManage or to maintain a minimum level of paid usage, with reasonable notice. We will not suspend an account for this without first giving notice and a chance to respond.
5. Tokens
New accounts receive 30 free tokens on signup. Unused free tokens expire 14 days after signup. Tokens you purchase never expire. One token is spent each time a sale is recorded; nothing else in the app consumes a token. See our Pricing page for current token pack prices and what happens when your balance reaches zero.
6. Payment processing
Our billing. Token purchases and LiteManage subscription payments are processed through Stripe.
Cancellation and auto-renewal. LiteManage subscriptions renew automatically each month at AED 29 until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings, or by contacting support. Cancelling does not end your access immediately — you keep full access through the end of the period you've already paid for, then the subscription simply stops; no refund or partial-month credit is given for the unused portion. Your data is not deleted when a subscription is cancelled — it stays intact, and you can resubscribe at any time to regain access.
Your customers' payments. If you use LiteRegister to accept payments from your own customers, you connect your own Ziina account. Your customers' payments go to that account; LiteRegister does not hold or process your customers' funds directly.
If you need a different local payment gateway, you can request it through support and we will evaluate adding it.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter, for keeping your login secure, and for anything done under your account by your staff. You must not use LiteRegister for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage or disable it for others.
8. Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it's used, and how long it's kept. It forms part of these Terms.
9. Availability
We aim to keep LiteRegister available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and features may change as the product develops.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or remains inactive as described in our Privacy Policy. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
11. Limitation of liability
LiteRegister is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Chapter Two Trading FZE is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of LiteRegister will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
13. LiteVRM — the visitor register
LiteVRM is a digital visitor register for buildings. It is used by the organisation that runs a building's reception — a property owner, management company, or the building's own security team — and by the staff it invites. In this section, "the building" means that organisation.
Roles. The building decides why and how visitors are recorded, and is the controller of its visitor data. We process visitor data only on the building's behalf and on its instructions, which are given through how it sets up and uses LiteVRM, and through any data processing agreement signed with us. We do not use visitor data for any other purpose.
The building's responsibilities. The building is responsible for:
- having a lawful basis to record its visitors, and recording only what it needs;
- telling visitors about the register — by showing the visitor notice LiteVRM provides (or its own) at reception — and keeping its privacy contact up to date in LiteVRM;
- choosing retention periods that suit its legal obligations, within the limits LiteVRM allows;
- answering visitors' requests about their data, including deletion requests, using the tools LiteVRM provides;
- deciding who on its staff, and which management company, has access, and removing access when it is no longer needed;
- the accuracy of what its staff record, including watchlist entries and notes; and
- deciding what to do when LiteVRM shows a warning. Warnings, including watchlist matches, never stop anyone from being checked in; the decision is always the building's.
Our responsibilities. We keep visitor data confidential and secure, encrypt ID numbers, record management and support access so the building can see it, delete records at the end of the building's retention periods, and give the building the tools to answer visitors' requests. If a visitor contacts us directly, we pass the request to the building. Our support team accesses a building's visitor records only when needed to support it, read-only, and with a recorded reason.
Data processing agreement. A building or management company that needs a written data processing agreement can request one from support.
When access ends. If a building stops using LiteVRM, its visitor records remain subject to its retention periods and are deleted as they expire. The building is responsible for exporting any records it needs to keep before then.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we will notify you and may require you to accept the new version before continuing to use the app.
